What is Chickchick?
If you are wondering what this is all about, you are in the right place.
Chickchick is a growing collection of highly specialized sounds created using a technique called "informational copying."
We take the signature of a physical substance (for example, wine), reduce it to the shortest possible audio length, and loop it. By encoding these signatures into ultra-short audio files, you can stream and apply their unique properties directly to your everyday life.
How It Works
Getting Started is Simple:
- Claim your free trial.
- Pick a sound you would like from the library.
- Choose your preferred application method below.
Important: Preparation is key to getting the best results from your chosen audio file.
Weak but effortless
Method 1: Direct Application
- Step 1: Set your phone's volume to the highest level.
- Step 2: Stick the speaker directly against your body.
- Step 3: Play the sound one or more times—however much you feel is necessary.
Stronger but effortful
Method 2: Water Amplification
- Step 1: Shake a plastic water bottle vigorously for 10 seconds.
- Step 2: Set your phone's volume to the highest level.
- Step 3: Press your phone's speaker as close as you can to the plastic bottle, bending the plastic a little.
- Step 4: Play the sound one or more times.
The effect of the water in the bottle will lessen over time, so you will need to recharge it accordingly.
Continuous use
Method 3: Sustained Wear
- Step 1: Get a holographic sticker roll (available on Amazon, AliExpress, or local shops).
- Step 2: Set your phone’s volume to the highest level.
- Step 3: Put the unglued side of the sticker directly onto your phone’s speaker.
- Step 4: Play the sound.
- Step 5: Stick the holographic sticker on the inside of your clothes so the unglued part is facing your body.
The effect should remain for up to 14 days, but feel free to recharge it sooner.
